JR has been a creative voice in games media for over a decade, having spent the last ten years as a producer, writer, and editor for IGN. Beyond the scope of routine news and preview coverage, media critique/analysis, he's devoted his career to sharing the creative intricacy of game design by bringing audiences behind the scenes at their favorite studios, from development teams like Ubisoft and Sony to Rockstar Games and CD Projekt Red. More recent years have seen him helping shape IGN's editorial voice and coordinating sitewide projects (like its Game of the Year awards) as its Senior Features Editor, and developing new content strategies for its Guides team to make its video walkthroughs and strategy guides as informative, accessible, and successful as they've ever been.

This wealth of experience has cultivated both a strong familiarity with the development process and a discerning taste for games, as well as a deep working knowledge of a variety of genres, mechanics, and game systems, and—perhaps more importantly—how players are likely to respond to (and, in some cases, attempt to circumvent) them. Coupled with a personal passion and professional commitment to social responsibility and progressive change within our media, he's the ideal provider to assist clients seeking to create games that both garner critical success and resonate with a diverse audience.

The Year Is 1997. It Is the Future.
